REFLECTIONS ESTATE – August 2009

Reflections Wetlands Park – an Oasis in the making!

In the heart of the increasingly popular Reflections Estate lies a wetlands oasis in the making. The first stage of Reflections Wetlands Park is nearing completion – with the final touches being put on the viewing platform and boardwalk. Seating areas are starting to appear, set amongst native trees and rock walls, along the shared walking and cycling paths that wind along the edges of the wetland ponds.

Most homes at Reflections will be within an easy stroll of the wetlands – so whether your preference is to relax on a park bench under a shady tree to admire the view, or raise your heart rate by taking advantage of the fitness stations scattered throughout the park, this peaceful nature setting will be a place you can enjoy every day.

At nearly a kilometre in length and over 140m wide, on completion Reflections Wetlands Park will be more than four times the size of the MCG’s playing field! Expected to cost in excess of $5 million, the park will feature a 1.85 kilometre shared walking and cycling path, over 130,000 plants, 166 lineal metres of rock retaining walls, several fitness stations, a boardwalk, a viewing platform and two shelters.

Recent rains gave a sneak preview of how spectacular the wetland ponds will be - and as the number of occupied homes in the area grows the stormwater run-off from these homes will help to top up the water levels which are expected to reach a depth of over 2m at the centre of the largest pond.

Land has been selling quickly, with the first 9 stages nearly sold out. Stage 10 is due to be released this month with blocks prices expected to start at under $150,000. House & land packages are also available, starting at less than $300,000

The Reflections Display Village is open daily and features 21 contemporary homes by five of Melbourne’s top builders - Burbank, Clarendon, J G King, Metricon and Orbit. You’ll be impressed by the wide range in size, style and price, as well as the innovative features that have been incorporated into these wonderful homes.
